Weddings · Sēlah Valley Estate
The day you'll actually remember.
You marry beneath the hoop pines, the valley opening behind you, Wollumbin on the horizon. Reception in the pavilion or under the stars.
Accommodation on-site for everyone who matters. The whole valley, exclusively yours for the day. No other guests. No shared venue. No strangers in the background of your photographs.
This is not a manicured wedding park — it's the Tweed Valley. The landscape is the decoration. The mist lifts off the paddocks in the morning. The creek runs below the pavilion. At night, the valley is entirely dark except for your event.
Ceremony locations
The hoop pines
The hoop pines
The valley opens behind you, Wollumbin on the horizon. The most photographed ceremony site on the property. Seats up to 100 — the natural amphitheatre does the rest.
The Pavilion deck
The Pavilion deck
Indoor-outdoor ceremony with the creek below and the valley as the backdrop. Suits any weather. Ceremony flows directly into the reception without a venue change.
The creek rock pools
The creek rock pools
The most intimate setting on the property. The water, the rocks, the trees. Small ceremonies only — best for 30 guests and under.

Frequently asked questions
The Pavilion accommodates up to 100 guests seated. For the ceremony, the hoop pine site and Pavilion deck both comfortably hold 100 guests; the creek rock pools suit smaller, more intimate ceremonies.
Venue hire includes full use of The Pavilion, the commercial kitchen (for your caterer), the deck, outdoor areas, fire-pits, and all ceremony locations. Ceremony, cocktail, and reception furniture is included. One clean on departure is included. All other event management, styling, and catering coordination is arranged by you or your suppliers.
Yes — Sēlah is dry hire. You engage your own caterer, who has full access to the commercial kitchen. We have a list of preferred vendors familiar with the property, and can generally accommodate alternative caterers upon written application.
Yes — this is one of the key things that sets Sēlah apart. All four accommodation options (The Homestead, Hillside Cabins, Creekside Lodges, and Premium Camping) can be booked for wedding guests. No one has to drive home, and everyone wakes up together the morning after.
In compliance with Tweed Shire Council regulations, indoor music is capped at 90 decibels (measured 3m from speakers) and outdoor music at 75 decibels. No percussion instruments (e.g. drums) are permitted; live bands are limited to 4 members. DJs and musicians must adhere to these limits.
The venue closes at 10:30 PM on Sunday through Thursday and at 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. Vendor access from 9:00 AM and client access from 12:00 PM on the event day. All items must be packed down by 9:00 AM the following morning.
